Part of Black & White Twelve Quilts group show, an exhibition that celebrates the craft of quilting. The show brings together the work of 12 textile artists from The United States and Canada. Unified by the black and white theme of the show, each artist explores the use of materials and processes within their individual approach to quilting. The objective of the exhibition is to showcase the work of a contemporary quilt community, a community united by a love of the craft and who all feel a strong connection to its history.

The show also features the work of Lindsay Stead, Maura Ambrose, Season Evans, Emily Fischer, Mariah Gillespie, Meg Callahan, Lesley Gold, Coulter Fussell, Pamela Wiley, Erin Wilson, and Kiva Motnyk.

This quilt came from elements I took from an old mathematics book cover. After finessing a bit with the placement of my blocks, I chose an austere and contrasting color palette that would resonate the book's subject and time period.

Pieced together by Jen Carlton Bailly and quilted by Gina Pina.
